Civic Year 2012 - 2013
At Mayor Making, held on 18 May 2012, Councillor Mrs Vivien MacRae was installed as the Town Mayor for the civic year 2012 - 2013
Councillor Miss Samantha Hoy was installed as Deputy Town Mayor
The Office of the Mayor attends some 300 plus engagements in the Civic year, commencing with the Mayor Making ceremony in May.

Wisbech Mayor's Charities Distribution and Presentation Evening

Councillor Mrs Viv MacRae distributued monies from her fundraising through her Mayoral year to local groups. She also took the opportunity to present certificates of recognition to several local people whose commitment and dedication give Wisbech such thriving community events and organisations.
Certificates - Ann Shippey, Mavis Russell, Barbara Mews for services to theatre, George Dunlop for support of Wisbech events and Vivien Fire Engine Trust, Annie Appleby for encouraging young people and the setting up of Fishy News and the Secret Mole Society, Angie Nixon for her help and encouragement for the Christmas Lights Switch On Spectacular, Keith Aplin for services to St Peter's and the Wisbech Food Bank, Sheila Otter for her services to Guiding, and the assistance with the Jubilee Festival in 2012, Jessica Oliver for her commitment to the Wisbech GVCAC who are great supporters of community events in Wisbech and her help with many civic events throughout the year, Jenny Bonnett for her work for the St Raphael Club, David Oliver for his support and dedication to many town events throughout the years.
